Audiometry

It is one of the best-known routine tests, providing numerical data on a scale of different frequencies and sound tones , allowing a broader view of the health status of the auditory organ.

It lasts 5 to 10 minutes.

You will be asked to relax and sit down, headphones will be placed on you, and when the study begins you should raise your hand towards the side where you hear the sound; at the end, the headphones will be removed.

OTOACOUSTIC EMISSIONS

Specialized test that evaluates the response of the inner ear to emitted sound.

FUNCTION TEST

AUDITORY TUBE

It is a specialized test to determine the functional state of the auditory tube, which is often affected by different problems, the most common being flu and allergies.

IMPEDANCE IOMETRY

German clinical impedance analysis

This is an independent but complementary study for diagnosing the functional status of the middle ear and the movements of the ossicles (malleus, incus, and stapes) and the tympanic membrane. It is performed on children and adults.
